Thought I'd let you know how much we, my sister and I, enjoyed our lunch. We really did. It had been a very stressful and awful day. The atmosphere and all the very interesting food helped to get our minds off what we had just been going through. Thanks.

Dear Kind Cafe staff,
KC,
It certainly was a pleasure to step into the world of "The Kind Cafe". It
was
truly a healthy experience. I wish you all the best and will share my
experience
with those on the journey.

Hi KC,
Hi KC,
Hey Guys (and gals)
How is everything going? Well I hope! California sucks and I can't wait to get
back home. I must be put in these miserable places by design. Where is the
California branch of the kind cafe? I had an "all natural" smoothie out here
at some wanna be kind place and as I was watching this person make my drink I
watched him pour "strawberry syrup" from a big white jug. Ummmm..... how
natural is that?! When I asked about the product he showed the jug to me and
claimed that all 9 million ingredients were "all natural". Anyhow I am
dying for kind smoothie!!!!!!! Be warm, stay cool, live, love and laugh! Miss
ya KC and Lou!
Peace!

The Kind Cafe raises the bar for vegan restaurants in the city of brotherly love. The food is absolutely fabulous. I previously heralded the "Raw Truth" out in Vegas as the best restaurant I have ever visited, but it is no longer so. K.C. has shown me that there is more to healthful eating than just veganism. She is the kindest most peaceful person I have ever met. Her kindness and peaceful nature emanate all through the establishment. All the workers there are enthusiastic and helpful. The banana/peanut butter desert wraps are the most delicious desert I have ever tasted in my life. I cannot wait to take a cooking class there and learn some of the kind techniques. KC's ideologies are making a proactive initiative to improve people's health and lifestyles. I would suggest anyone that has an opportunity, visit the Kind Cafe. Peace and kindness to all.

LOVED reading this website and sooooooooooooo wish you
were in MY area, lol! I will be participating --
longdistance -- in the asthma study you're working on
with Meghan. I have already shared your site with
some of the lists I'm on. It is an inspiration!
"Kind foods" ~ what a wonderful way to help people
embrace this diet while avoiding the stigma so many
attach to the "V" word! :)
Keep it up!!!

AHHHHHHHH!!!! I need kind food and fast. K. C. I cannot wait to get home.
I need real food. This living on the road thing is hard on the body and
spirit. Plus I miss you guys! Things are great here as far as the project
goes. BUT I have proof that the "Kind stuff" works. I cant fit into 3 out of
five pairs of pants I brought with me. This is bad. I have gained at least 25
pounds since I have been off the kind way of life. To all the none
believers..... KIND CAFE WORKS!!!!!!!!! I had lost a ton of weight in a short
time and now I have gained it back since I have been off the kinder foods.
Believe in K. C. and she WILL make you happier and healthier!!!!! See you
soon peoples!

Just yesterday, at the 2003 WXPN Singer/Songwriter Festival, the folks at the Kind Cafe showed me that "kindness" is not only what they do but who they are. This kindness was manifested in an act that can be described as nothing less than generous. It was Sunday night, I was starving and feeling a little "low-blood-sugar" like, but I had run out of cash and the ATM machine at the festival was not working. I asked KC and the other folks at the Kind Cafe stand if they accepted credit cards (it was more like a statement: "Please tell me that you take credit cards." She said no but insisted that I take one of their rainbow wraps. I tried to say no but KC kept insisting. So I walked away from their stand with a DELICIOUS rainbow wrap, a Kind Cake (pumpkin and chocolate chips--YUM!), and a blackberry seltzer. I was so thankful to get some food in my stomach--and healthy food at that! It was delicious! As a result of the Kind Cafe's generosity, I left the Festival, and Philadelphia, feeling happy and thankful for the kindness that was shown to me that day. The food was yummy and I will remember this place the next time I come north. It's nice to know that the folks at the Kind Cafe are what they say they are...and are true to the message for which they are working so diligently.
